The Going Ons

My little baby has turned into a toddler! He is growing up so quickly and is like a sponge. He is getting good with pronunciation of words, and can repeat some words that I say to him, he has a really soft spot for animals, however insists a horse says moo not neigh.

He is enjoying swimming looks forward to going each week and his teacher says he is very obliging with instructions.

Whenever we visit Granny's he likes to hang out in the garage if Grandpa is home and do some male bonding, if not he will happily get up to trouble in the house, he always grabs the photo of his Uncle of the side board and walks around with it.

This week he commences day care at a little private centre close to my work, his day care mum is expecting the arrival of her first borne. I will be working 4 days per week and am hoping to finish around 4-4.30, it will be nice to have him close by.

Come on come on, lets go I've got the keys and my bag what is the hold up here? As soon as he cottons on to what is happening it has to happen immediately, here is a photo of him ready and rearing to go to day care.

Sandpit

Poppy Guru came over yesterday and built Levi this huge sandpit, it is great! Levi loves it. Sure to be hours of entertainment. Went and checked it out this morning and surprisingly there were no dog footprints.

Latest Craze

Levi has developed his own sense of individuality and style, his latest craze is to wear a swim nappy over the top of his clothing...................................do you think this will catch on?

The keen gardener, together we planted some tomato & capsicum seeds and when at home I put them out to get some sun, Levi scatters the pots around the garden.

Busted Lip

Levi is at the exploration and climbing stage, lots of fun. He is the definition of "No Fear" figuring out how to climb up and into things. Yesterday he was sitting at his little table playing with his cars and had the idea to stand up on the chair turn around and lean on the back of chair, I couldn't get to him fast enough, he had a pretty good landing sort of did a roll, however managed to bust his lip.

He is also a determined little fella, today when we got home he carried one of the bags from the car to the house and dumped it where the bags go and looked pretty pleased with himself.

Growing Up

The above photo was taken yesterday - all dressed up for day care, which he is really enjoying.

He got his 12 month immunisations today, 2 in the arm and 1 in the leg, all went well did not even cry, surprising me and the nurse. He has had a growth spurt growing 3cm in 2 weeks.

Discovery of Chocolate

Yes this little man has a sweet tooth, loves chocolate. I let him play with a couple of shiny easter eggs (he thought they were toys) and they got dented and the wrapping started to come off so let him eat a couple, he cottoned on quickly what was behind the wrappers and has been eyeing off them ever since and is happy to gorge himself on them.
